The NSE President commended President Bola Tinubu for his approach to national development through global partnerships, encouraging him to pursue even deeper alliances, especially in sectors that require innovation and engineering expertise. She described road infrastructure as the backbone of economic growth and noted that the newly donated equipment is a “symbol of progress” and a commitment to excellence.

In her closing remarks, Oguntala expressed gratitude to the Japanese government for its support and specifically tasked the Federal Roads Maintenance Agency (FERMA) with the responsibility of ensuring the proper use and maintenance of the equipment. She stressed that a commitment to international standards is essential to maximizing the impact of these valuable assets.
